Be sure to seal the inside edges of the stencil to the skin so that no adhesive or glitter goes outside the edges. Apply the adhesive to the skin inside the stencil and carefully remove the stencil. You can reuse the stencils if you are careful with them and reapply the backing. The adhesive should be allowed to sit for about a minute for it to set up to tacky stage.
The glitter tattoo kit also includes all the brushes you will need. Use the smaller brush to apply the glitter and gently push it into the body adhesive. The larger brush is a finishing brush that can be used to loosen stray glitter and clean up the temporary tattoo. Brushing a bit of baby powder onto the tattoo can help it to stay nicer longer. Use the larger brush to do this as well. With the proper application and care, your tattoo can last for about a week and look great the whole time.
